In 2025, the Kectil Program proudly launched a new and powerful initiative — The Kectil Community Project (“Kectil in Action”). This initiative was created to give young leaders around the world the chance to take action and lead meaningful change in their local communities.
At Kectil, we believe that youth are not just the future — they are the present. Their voices, ideas, and leadership can solve real problems and bring communities together. The Kectil in Action was designed exactly for that: to turn young people’s ideas into real, visible impact.
The Kectil Community Project is a youth-led initiative where each participant chooses a challenge in their community and creates a project to address it. Whether the issue is education, climate, gender equality, access to health, or youth development — this project is your chance to step forward and make a difference.
This is not just a one-time effort. Every participant follows a process of thinking, planning, acting, and reflecting. Through this, the Kectil Program helps young leaders grow personally and professionally while helping their communities at the same time.
Many communities around the world face serious challenges — from poverty and inequality to conflict and lack of opportunity. Often, young people feel powerless in the face of these problems. The Kectil in Action shows them that they are not powerless — in fact, they are some of the most powerful agents of change.

Throughout the few months, participants go through each step of their project — from identifying the issue, designing the solution, working with local people, to finally presenting the results. The Kectil Team is there to guide and support every step of the way.
At the end of the cycle, all participants present their work to the Kectil Board. This includes a report, photos or videos of the project, and a personal reflection on the journey of leadership and growth.
This is not just a task — it’s a celebration of action.
