The Kectil Centre For Youth Excellence in Zambia recently hosted the “Building Your Financial Toolkit Kectil Forum.” This successful event brought together accomplished entrepreneurs, investors, and financial advisors to discuss key strategies for wealth creation through business development and passive income generation. The forum attracted 110 Zambian youths.

The forum was graced by distinguished panel of speakers:

Ms. Betty Wilkinson: An innovative international economist specializing in inclusive governance, financial markets, gender equity, climate change, and market development.

Mr. John Samaras: A prominent entrepreneur, business leader, and investor. He is the Founder and CEO of Sampay Limited and Lion Zone. His dedication to developing and formalizing the informal economy is evident in his leadership roles as CEO of The Informal Economy Consortium of Zambia (IECZ) and Chisuma Energy, which is building a fuel pipeline connecting Zambia and Mozambique.

Mr. James Kapesa: Managing Consultant at Bow and Arrow Consultants. He previously served as the Founder Director General at the National Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA) and is the author of several books, including The First 90 Days After Losing Your Job and Oleander-3: Ancient, Eternal SME’s Success Secrets Revealed.

Mr. Dingan Njobvu B.Acc, GZICA, M.Phil: A seasoned chartered accountant and licensed financial advisor. Go-to consultant in the investment industry and he is a member of Capital Market Association of Zambia and Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Mr. Kishan Vaghela, CFA: A finance professional, investment banker, and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in both the United Kingdom and Zambia. Mr. Vaghela holds the prestigious CFA qualification and a BSc in Business Mathematics & Statistics from the London School of Economics.
