KECTIL QUOTE OF THE DAY: The Power of Thought
Dr King was heavily influenced by M. Gandhi in India. Today we focus on one of M. Gandhi’s quotes that reminds us of the power of our thoughts. Thoughts become actions which become habits which become values.
We each have the power to control our destiny by self-discipline of our thoughts. If we think bad thoughts, our actions go in that direction. If we control our thoughts to think positively only, our lives go in that direction.
There are many times that we can justify being mad, angry or have a temper fit because we have been “wronged”. These negative thoughts hurt us more than those the negative thought is aimed to.
Controlling your thoughts takes practice and is an exercise as important as sports.
Please share your thoughts on what this quote means to you and how a positive thought helped you in a negative situation.
