We are pleased to announce that The Malmar Knowles Family Foundation will co-host the Rural Investment Summit on November 19-20, 2025 in Johannesburg South Africa along with CONTRALESA (Congress of Traditional Leaders of South Africa) and The Institute of African Royalty. The Summit will be held at the Radisson Blu, Sandton, South Africa.
The Summit is being held in conjunction with the United Nations G20 Conference, which will be held for the first time on the continent of Africa. The Republic of South Africa holds the Presidency of the 2025 G20 Conference, and is the host.
This Summit brings together top traditional leaders with high level representatives of the South African Government to address how to train, mentor and employ youth in rural communities in Africa. This is a critical topic, given the acknowledged youth population bulge in Africa, and the challenges faced by this group of youth.
The subjects to be tackled include: the Effect of the Population Bulge on African Youth Success; Digital Accessibility Requirements for Rural Youth; Gaps in Quality Education and Health Care; How to Avoid Destructive Cultures; Entrepreneurship and Innovation Skills; the Effect of Corruption on Youth Development; and the Appropriate Use of Minerals and Energy.
If you would like to attend this Summit, please apply using the link below. Space is limited. The Summit provides free registration. Travel and accommodation must be handled by the attendee.
