We are proud to share that Hein Htet Oo, a Kectil International Board Member, represented Kectil at the United Nations ECOSOC Coordination Segment held on February 6–7, 2025, at the UN Headquarters in New York.
Hein Htet Oo delivered the closing NGO/Youth intervention, calling on UN Member States and the UN itself to act on their commitments and accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. His powerful message emphasized the urgency of science- and evidence-based solutions to achieve SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 14 (Life Below Water), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
